Michelle joined VisionWeb in December 2003 and was part of the original team that launched VisionWeb’s insurance services. With over 20 years of sales and customer service experience, 13 of which were spent in the eyecare industry, Michelle continues the VisionWeb tradition of providing excellent service and support. Her years as an in-office billing specialist, responsible for posting payments and credentialing doctors for a busy MD/OD practice, give her a unique understanding of our customers’ specific insurance needs. Michelle leads VisionWeb’s sales team and works closely with our clients to assess their insurance processing needs and help them implement processes that make insurance billing more efficient.
Michelle’s extensive healthcare and insurance billing background make her an instrumental advisor for the development and implementation of new and refined features of VisionWeb’s insurance claim filing service.
Suzanne Carter - Senior Account Manager | Return to Top
Suzanne has over 15 years of eyecare industry experience including extensive training in billing and coding. She has been working with clearinghouses, insurance payers, and electronic billing at VisionWeb for over 7 years. Suzanne was also a member of the original team that launched VisionWeb’s insurance services. She leads VisionWeb’s escalation team, which is responsible for resolving claim filing discrepancies and responding to customers’ technical support needs in an expedient manner. Prior to joining VisionWeb, Suzanne worked in independent eyecare practices as a technician, refractive surgery coordinator, and billing specialist. Her expertise in insurance billing and coding, coupled with her experience in the independent eyecare practice, give her the necessary skills to evaluate, interpret, advise, and identify solutions for almost any issue a billing department might encounter.
Suzanne maintains her JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and Ophthalmic Coding Specialist certifications, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives (AAOE).

Anna has been a member of the VisionWeb team since 2007. She initially served as a liaison to VisionWeb members, helping them maximize their practice’s efficiency through our direct-to-supplier ordering services. Anna transitioned to the VisionWeb insurance team in 2009. As a member of the insurance team, Anna works with customers to deliver more efficiency to their practice through our online, multi-payer insurance services. In addition to enrolling new members, she also manages a very active account base. With a solid understanding of the day-to-day procedural needs of our users, and a commitment to exceptional customer service, Anna is able to help her clients benefit the most from electronic billing in their practice.
Before joining VisionWeb, Anna spent four years as a private insurance broker in the Health & Life industry.

Chris joined our insurance team in January 2007; bringing more than 16 years of customer service experience to VisionWeb. He has extensive knowledge of the top practice management systems in the industry and their compatibility with VisionWeb’s insurance services. Chris assists customers in utilizing these practice management compatibilities so that they can benefit from claim uploading - the most convenient method of claim filing available. In addition to offering guidance for practice management system users, Chris is integral in helping clients through every stage of the claim filing process with VisionWeb.
Chris is a regular fixture in the VisionWeb booth at tradeshows and events across the country, and is a frequent host of web-based demonstrations of VisionWeb’s claim filing services.

Dona joined the VisionWeb team in June 2011, bringing an extensive background in insurance, including ten years working with Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX, which gives her a solid understanding of the ever-changing insurance industry. Dona is responsible for managing the processing of new contracts and EDI paperwork for our electronic insurance transactions division. So whether you’re enrolling for the first time, or needing to add providers or payers, Dona is available to assist you.
